Medical Gas Systems, Inc. was created from the merging of Doerksen Medical Gas Systems and Medical Gas Associates.

Doerksen Medical Gas Systems was incorporated in 1975 in Canada, and began serving US Health care facilities in 1979. In 1984, Doerksen Medical Gas/US was incorporated in the State of Arizona.

Medical Gas Associates was started in Columbus, Oh by Roy Hedrick serving all of Ohio and parts of Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

Medical Gas Systems, Inc. is currently involved in medical gas projects across the continental US, with areas of intense activity in Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Colorado, and Washington.

Medical Gas Systems, Inc. operates as a 3rd party independent testing agency. Our personnel work in concert with design engineers and planners toward the goal of creating a safely controlled and monitored medical gas system. Medical Gas Systems, Inc.is a Medical Gas Testing Agency whose work is exclusively comprised of Medical Gas Systems Testing and associated activities. All of our staff is specialists in Medical Gas Systems.

Medical Gas Systems, Inc. is insured for both Professional and General Comprehensive liability arising from medical gas systems testing. If required, our broker will forward, upon written request, a letter of verification. There has never been any liability claims made against Medical Gas Systems , Inc. or its subsidiaries.

National Inspection Testing Certification Corporation certifies our Technicians to ASSE 6030 Standard.

Robert Kroening is currently the president of Medical Gas Systems, Inc. Bob works as a medical gas system technician and design consultant. His responsibility includes consultation with engineers, system inspection, system verification, and systems training.

Prior to joining MGS he was a mechanical engineering designer for Ellerbe Becket, a international architectural firm, for 17 years. During his time with EB he worked almost exclusively designing healthcare facilities plumbing systems, including medical gas systems. His responsibility included designing, specifying, field inspection all installations.
